Where
you can learn more about my books, books about strong
women, love and family ties that bind and a little
bit about my own family, our adventures in kitchen
and garden and far away, and the things that are most
important to me.

From my earliest stories and poems as a child to
my latest novels, my writing has always focused on the strength
of family and community and the power of love and faith. So it's
not surprising that Home has become the theme for this website.
I invite you to visit my Home,
stay for a while and come back often.
- The
Family Room will tell you a little about me, and
keep you up-to-date with my news.
- My cooking ideas, as well
as recipes and culinary information from my food columns and
cookbooks and hot tips to other terrific cookbooks are in the
Kitchen.
- We love to travel, so check
out the Front Porch to see where
we've been lately and what we'd recommend for your travels.
- Ahhh, the Garden
- here you'll see a wealth of information on organic gardening,
book recommendations and Q & A on growing your own food.
- In the Library
are my books. Find out about my latest publications. Please
enjoy a browse and read an excerpt or two. There are order links
as well.
- Upstairs
you will find thoughts on our love relationships, prayer
and dreams.
